Admittedly inspired by the Jim Shead thread, can anybody recall a RLM Bahama 31 called "Mark Charles" and know where it is, or whether it was renamed? It was a 1969 model, same as "Harpagon", but a friend is interested as it was a relative's boat.

'Harpagon' (According to Wiktionary) Noun - harpagon m (plural harpagons) A miserly, selfish person.

That about sums it up really, a Harpagon is a Miserly selfish person, the sort of person who doesn't give a monkeys about anybody else unless a tV Camera is in the vicinity. Probably a bit dirty and smelly, and best avoided, as the other 'Harpagon' was a Miser, in a 1980 film called 'The Miser'

I thank you.... ;)
