Yeah.....On the news last weekend. Have been going though all the restructuring business over the last couple of years, laying off hundreds every year for the last few years.
Real shame, such a great company, hope they can salvage the brand and rebuild. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
a 3600 SY Series II was delivered here 2 weeks ago it surely is a very nice boat and looks very well built, watch the update for this on PowerYachtBlog
you might be rite, but I think it is more the companies who produced like there is no tommorow who should have problems
those who build on order basis and have not much debts with a clean balance sheet should be able to hold on
I think Riviera will survive but I am sure it will have new owners in not so far away times
Riviera as a company is like Sunseeker to Australia more or less, and produces 100 plus of boats a year....
I think in 2007 they did close to 200 boats
Locally they are/were the biggest, no question. From their retail offices, marketing and boat show presence. Still only small on a worldwide scale, but a local icon never the less.
