going into its most difficult period Riviera presents its biggest model in the Sport Yacht series the new 5800 here
it will be powered by triple IPS and among its noticable features is a 3 or 4 cabin option and galley up or down, not bad for a boat measuring 62 feet LOA
Riviera declared early this year that 8 where sold on designs alone, so lets hope this goes better for them as personally I dont like to see good companies going down....

Most difficult period? Thats one way of describing their voluntary receivership. I hope they do rise from the ashes, but its going to be very tough for them /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The poor buggers..... so close to the receivership announcements, the Sanctury Cove boat show (Queensland) is on at the moment, which is coinciding with the worse floods in nearly 40 years, the whole place is under water.
I think the company was hoping for some much needed sales during this time.

The 'Gold Coast' as it is called (S.E. Queensland) has been absolutely flogged with torrential rain and high winds since about September last year, you could say a poor season. We dont feel that sorry for them, as there winter is often warmer than our summer, so they go boating all year round.
