The free App: River Thames Guide has been updated again - this time to fix a problem viewing detailed lock information on an iPhone or iPod; both of these now have a single column that can be scrolled as required; the iPad version retains the two-column look.
The River Thames Guide has all you need for boating (or whatever) on the non-tidal Thames:
- interactive map (no Internet required) with overlays for locks, moorings, boatyards, marinas, pubs, bridges and more
- journey planner (time, distance and locks between any two places)
- bridge headways
- lock info (overview list and detail for each lock with phone number - tap to call on iPhone)
- weather (internet needed)
- river conditions (internet needed)
