The Free River Thames Guide has been updated again and now includes 'tap to call' for all phone numbers (locks, marinas, boatyards, pubs etc). The map rendering engine has been updated to give quicker and smoother map displays.
Download for iPhone, iPad and/or iPod here:

Existing users can update via App Store on the device or iTunes on the desktop (the latter is probably quicker).
Enjoy!

Currently there is no Android version. My experience with the few other Apps I converted is that the Android market is not worth the effort. If there is lots of interest I can make and Android version but, for the moment, it is iOS only - sorry...

Thanks Rascal Joe, I hope there is sufficient demand as I do not use any Apple Products,

Joe,
am I being thick, or is it still impossible to view the lock facilities pages adequately on an Iphone (no way to scroll horizontally)?

Also you mentioned in an earlier post that the lock facilities details were to be checked, and I must say I had also hoped the corrections would have made it into this version, but that doesn't appear to be the case. (For example the keepers' hours are wrong for the sample of locks I've looked at).

Another bug still present is the failure of the journey planner to work with Teddington as an origin or destination - see screenshot attached

I really hate to to be negative as I do realise a great deal of effort has gone into this app, but the combination of its hugely cumbersome size, which makes even installing a routine update a painful exercise, and pretty significant issues such as these are pushing me towards binning this app, which I do not find to be of the quality expected for serious iOS apps, even free ones.

Sorry,
A.
