River Thames Guide app updated

The official British Marine Federation app, River Thames Guide, has been updated with some new features:

Big usability improvements to the map page:
- Individual overlays can be selected/deselected without redrawing the map
- Selected overlays persist between page views
- Selected overays persist between sessions
- All overlays can be removed by tapping 'Clear'
On Lock Details popups, now tap for hours or facilites
Added popup for Wey Navigation conditions
Added buttons for Another Forecast or Back to Journeys on weather popups
Opening a marina web page now includes a 'Close Popup' button to return to App
Impoved method for emailing marinas or BMF (using popup form)
Improved image of Red Ensign in Flag Etiquette page
Tidied up some icons

Both Apple versions (for iOS and Mac) will automatically update over the next 24 hours as will the Lite version from Google and the full version from Amazon; the full Windows and Android version can only be downloaded from the support site.

Hi Jeff

I'm still failing to download the app. It is telling me that it is incompatible with all Android devices, including my Samsung S8.

It's a shame as I love the app.

Please provide more info: which version are you trying to download (RTG or RTG Lite); where are you downloading from? What exactly is the error message you get?

Downloading the full version to my Amazon apps but it tells me it is incompatible with all my devices. I also get an error message from Amazon that there is a problem with payment, even though it is free (thank you!).

Amazon only delivers apps to Amazon Fire devices (changed a couple of years ago from any Android device). See the Android download links at www.riverthamesguide.net and let me know...
