The free and complete guide to leisure on the Thames and Wey (River Thames Guide app) has been updated for the last time this year (plenty planned for 2020 though!). Improvements/updates include:
On the Home page a new Tips option
Tap 'Tips' in the right hand menu bar
and see a selection of popups to help you get the best from River Thames Guide
All telephone numbers now 'hot' links
just tap to call from your smartphone
Updated marina map overlay (again!)
with more boat hire options
with loads of pubs on the Wey Navigation
Optimised images
to reduce size of app
and improve performance
Added some safety advice graphics from PLA
available on the Advice page
Info on how to get river conditions without an Internet connection
no longer needs an Internet connection!!
The first mentioned is designed to help every user get the most form the app.
Users of all Apple version, Android Lite version, and Amazon Fire version will receive updates automatically through their respective App Stores. New users and those with the Android full version can get download links and instructions on the app support site.
