For anybody contemplating 'going up to Paris' or using the Seine as the entry point into the canal system and then through to the Med, the newly created and published Breil guide - #21 - is excellent. I've just received a copy.
It covers the complete river in detail, from Le Havre, to Rouen, to Paris and then upstream to Montereau and to the limit of navigation at Marcilly.

Hi - There hasn't been as much visible interest in the waterways on YBW as once was the case, so it seems to me, so my appearances have become a little thin that's true. But still exploring the waterways for much of the year - will be in Briare for the next month or so, then probably heading for Strasbourg, which would be a 'first' for us.
