River rising

My bottom garden paddock seems to be flooding again this evening. It is difficult to tell how much exactly because of the dark.

I'm not surprised, the roads on the way home this evening on the East side of the Cotswolds were awash and very large pools on lots of roads, bigger than I've seen before given they were on all the roads not just an isolated one or two. THere's a lot of water running off the fields and on their way to rivers

Not actually flooded as such but a great deal of standing water indicating the grounds are so saturated any water just sits on top. I imagine that this will eventually just run off very rapidly once the river can accept it.
