Looking at your profile I think you mean the Great Ouse. What do you think of your Princess 32? Always liked them myself and hope to upgrade from my JGM Madeira 27 to a P32 in the next couple of years.
Sorry I do mean the Great Ouse im in Priory Marina Bedford.
So how do you find Buckden? Just so happens I was up there a few weeks back and im very tempted to move up there. Priory just seems to be getting more and more restricted. I spoke with the manager I think and she seemed really approachable.
As for the P32 its a lovely boat ive had it 2 years now. The only down points I would say would be the cost of a stern drive can be a lot more than a pop shaft! For example just after I brought the boat it cost me another 3k on stern drive issues /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. But now ive had it a while a lot of them jobs done Id probally have a go at myself. The other thing is the size. Not a issue really for where you are but just needs a bit more thought my end of the river. I recently had a friend with a P32 join the Barford Bridge Club!!!!!!!
Mine is the single screw version aswell which I do like because you lose half the maintance issues of a twin screw.
If your ever down Bedford way always happy to take people for a spin.
Buckden is great. I have been there just over a year. I did look at Priory marina and LH Jones at St Ives. But the swimming pool at Buckden was a major attraction (although it costs another £500 a year for myself and my wife to have membership for the pool). The marina is lovely and a very friendly place. We also have some nice stretches of river within easy reach.
