River Loire Question

Does any forumite know how far up the Loire from the estuary one could go with a 40ft boat of about 4' draft?

If not, do you know any web sites that might help?

I have driven alongside some of the Loire and it appeared very narrow and shallow in places, I even saw someone walk across it.

we recently did the Canal Lateral a Loire, which as the name implies runs parallell (ish). Canoes and very small boats were all we saw on the river - it is very shallow.
