Very interesting. If you look at Shepperton yesterday you can see that the levels were up and down like a yoyo. The levels changed about a foot in a short time and the reliief lockie abandoned us at the lock to shoot up to Chertsey (unmanned) to sort out thr weir.

We moored at Boulters last night, with low levels, and by morning they appeared to have risen considerably!

Any website is limited in usefulness by these sort of factors!?

It certainly is. Thank goodness someone does the weir movements to achieve the change.

Romney has one automatic gate on the weir , for the hydropower.
