River Escort?

SWMBO's company is involved with helping this guy out on his exploits web page and is looking for an escort vessel to accompany the boat from Putney to the Pier outside of St Kat's. The guy is paddling around the UK by himself, so the escort is more for peace of mind, and also to possible carry some of the local press while he makes his way down river. Apparently a couple of dignitories may also be on board for the paddle. They are planning on leaving one of the Putney rowing clubs at about 1200 on Thursday 01 May. If anyone fancies a bit of escort work, or can recommend someone I will pass on.

I think they are hoping to capitalise on it (excuse the pun!) as apparently the BBC outside broadcast van is parked up at the hotel next to St Kat's, right near the pier they are going to use. Thanks for the offer, and let me know if anything changes.
