River Conditions

The information on the EA River Conditions page has not been updated since 11:17am on Monday - almost 48 hours ago.

I presume this is because the boards situation has not changed? However, with further heavy rain expected today and tomorrow, the outlook must be looking different?

Ted-Lock is it not possible for that web page to be positively updated at a specific time each day - say 10:00 hours so that we know it has not just been overlooked?

At the moment we are having computer problems at the lock , so when any changes are phoned through to us , we pass it onto the nav office ( during weekday office hours ) , and it is updated then. So more or less in real time.

At weekends however we are reliant on a team leader to do it for us , who may or may not have Internet access at that point in time , hence we try to do it twice a day.

The computer problems hopefully will be sorted out in the next week or so , so then should be updated in real time ( even weekends ).

At the moment with the river as it is , if it hasn't been updated , it is probably because there are no boards changes , I can't imagine it has dropped off anywhere and can only see it rising after the rain forecast.

I can honestly assure you though , that the web page is never far from our minds , it is never forgotten about.

The way it's going looks as though little chance of a trip end of next week in any case.
