Riva video

That's a great video!

Poor old Riviera Radio isn't going to be challenging Casey Neistat in the Youtube ratings war anytime soon though...

Thanks nice vid -Allways liked them, all of them - not quite so sure now!
Had a sea trial last Month on a 52 Rivali as we came out of Monaco and started to give it some beans ,at 28 knots in what I consider a nothing sea ,ie calm it's started to slam ,increasingly so as we ended up @from memory circa 40 knots ( box fresh boat with 30 hrs )
The "Admiral" said NO within 2 minutes - so we cut it short .

Any how what that did is scratch an itch
I love the FB stuff so if was in that mkt and could live with 22-24 knot cruise -then we will re-visit them .
Much Preffer to have an older Riva FB than another newer plastic fantastic .
But at the mo -a tad disappointed ,but that's Allways gona be a prob coming from Itama sports boat .

If you want fast speed comfort better or same level to an Itama, there is not much brands you can go.

One of the bit better ones would be a Magnum.
Off course they are followed by Otam, which is more or less the Italian Magnum, the 65 is fantastic.
XL Marine are more a less a new badged improved Itama all important stuff work with them nowadays.
Baia gives better comfort at high speed, they are specialist for surface drives.
Alfamarine have also fantastic hulls, with the smaller ones designed by Fabio Buzzi.
Italcraft is another name to look for.
CNM from Rome would be another interesting proposal, they have great hulls, the 50 is a fantastic boat.
AB Yachts are also very good, the 58 is a very good boat.
And I would say to not discount Pershing the 56/58/62 has a good hull.

Anyways here are some names to look for.
