Rising Sun Tender

The super yacht Rising Sun has been moored off my 'villa' for quite some time.



Last Friday I was at the Beach Bar and an Iguana-yachts (tender) came ashore and collected a few people then crawled back into the sea and departed (probably back to Rising Sun - well it headed in that direction.

With a reported price of $313,386.00 on the moderate end of the spectrum, with costs all the way up to $595,000.00, I concede that to is outside the range for my tender.

Although there reportedly is one at Oualie Beach in Nevis (John Cleese has a house in Nevis) a few miles from me.

All in all the Iguana-yachts is a rather impressive bit of kit.

Nevertheless I would rather spend my beer tokens on a different craft.

There I was building my tender to be as light as possible for carrying up the beach, I should have gone the other way and fitted tracks. How silly of me!

Me too. A tad rich for me, but I love the idea.

That is mindbendingly hideous. If I had superyacht money lying around, I'd be in a rush to pay the price of that thing not to have to look at it.
