Hi all thank you for reading my last post was one them unknown boats, which escaped me,

I have since traded my 224 for the rinker ive read from previous posts that other forum users have had them and would like to know there views and thoughts on this boat and anything to look out for with them, i got the 5.7 mercruiser one its on twin ss props bravo leg 2 or 3 i think, its a 1999 so views on fuel use im thinking about 2.4 to 3.3 mpg would this be about right?.

would like to say congratulations to all whos just got there new boats and to the others on here whos making the most of the good weather for this season

"little" brother has one. Only real problem he had was that the canvas leaked over the winter, and he forgot to take the carpet out, so the carpet is now beige with blotchy black mouldy bits.

The solution is to add some "poles" to keep the canvas from ballooning down in heavy rain...

Hi, congrats on new boat!

Haven't had a 232 but looked seriously at them before deciding we needed something bigger. The cockpit is fantastic! We had a Rinker 182 bowrider for about 3 years which was superb. Well built, and much more substantial feeling than many others at similar price. This too was a 99 boat.

Fuel wise will depend on number of people on board, use of boat etc. Ours with a 3.0 litre Merc used loads as there were usually half a dozen people on board with one on skis! £70 would last us a day. On my new boat (26' with V8) am expecting about £40-50 per hour at a cruise - not cheap!

thanks for the tip with extra poles, any one got tips for gadgets to get for it, so far already got the fishfinder and the dvd system, thinking a tender small outboard and generator anyone got any ideas of anything im missing out?
