Ring-pull on tube of sealant??

My CT sealant strangely has a ring-pull like e a beer can. Am I meant to pull it off before use? (in a normal hand sealant gun)
Or will pulling it off just open the tube, and waste the sealant?

There wouldn't be a ring-pull if it wasn't meant to be pulled. It's probably intended to increase the shelf-life of the product

If you don't pull it and free up the base opening, the gun won't work to squirt it out on the other end?

Presumably a tube of PU sealant/adhesive; the ringpull keeps moisture out and prolongs shelf life. The other end needs piercing as per a tube of silicone.

Not sika but it had some granules.

Before you put it in the fridge wrap it in a plastic bage !!!!. (Swimbo will tell you why )
