Kim's pissed off down the pub for the afternoon and's has asked me to moderate for the interim .. so what can I cut .. think I'll dump the Euro thread, and that breakfast one's gone a bit silly .. hope TCM posts then I can ban him .. should be a good afternoon ..

I can't believe we've got a thread about duvets!!! Started off as sleeping bags which is borderline. It has now progressed to hot water bottles.

Are the mobo's taking over? Or the Cats? Get it off before we have an attack of Chintz and china ornaments.

Sleeping is a vital part of comfortable cruising. I'm particularly partial to sitting up under my unshaped duvet, flat cap keeping my head warm and puffing away on my pipe while my favorite slippers nestle on the floor. SWMBO is getting the Horlicks ready because like all the best, our boat is alcohol free. She then does the washing up in a dutiful way, cleans the boat, then goes to her bunk in the cockpit locker after tucking me in.

What a wonderful life. I thik we should discuss domestic comforts more on the forum.

I did but you must have blinked and missed it. He immediately posted a 10 page screed on the benefits of reverse polarity with defribillators. The immediate deluge of responses wsa honoured with individual full and frank responses. The server was full so I had no option but to pull the posts and reinstate the ban. Steve101 has been reinstated but has'nt posted as he's halfway round the world in a fully equipped moody/Bavaria hybrid
