RIGGING TENSIONING, ADVICE NEEDED

Advice , instruction ,links needed. Hi everyone, recently replaced all the chain plate U-bolts through the deck and need to tension all the rigging again. Unfortunately I was assisted by persons with less knowledge than myself so need to get it right and to be honest I dont know where to start, inners outers ,port , starboard HELP PLEEEEASE
Best mention its a ketch rigged colvic countess with one set of spreaders per mast. Thanks in advance

As said the Selden website specifically the Hints and Advice document at http://www.seldenmast.com/_download.cfm?id=6740&download=9445082&filename=595-540-E.pdf

It tells you how to set it up without a tension gauge. More than adequate unless your Colvic Countess is a red hot racing machine.

just done tensioning over hols-got the selden booklet a few notes off other posts which i searched and recently bought the loos gauge off saltyjohn-no connection what so ever first purchase-highly satisfied and with the enclosed notes very easy to use - the gauge helps to easily confirm your settings and would seem to me to be a useful bit of kit to have aboard-
after our first total rig replacement it all seems to have gone quite well-

Nigel Calders books give detailed advice, and how to guage tension with DIY methods. (You should have them in the ship's library anyway IMO /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif )
