Looking for a good rigger to do some work whilst I stop over in North Wales. Initial search throws up the name of P D Riggers. Can anyone recommend these guys.

I would recommend them with no hesitation. Good workmanship and very personable and helpful. They were recommended to me by someone else in the boatyard at Holyhead and I have put another friend on to them. They went down to Pwllheli to do the job. He was also well satisfied.

I have no connection with them other than as a customer.

Tony Jones (TJ Rigging) is also a good honest guy who runs his business from Conwy Marina and travels to most areas in his mobile workshop. Takes a pride in his work. Don't have his number to hand but Conwy marina should have it.

I had mine built by Partingtons in Pwllheli harbour, great people to deal with. I actually helped Will Partington with mine as I wanted to make some minor adjustments and because I was in a rush and 1 1/2 is better than 1..

I was happy and comfortable with the quality of work and tools used to build the rigging. The price was comfortable too.

I have known both partners @ PD Rigging for many years and found them efficient , competitive and reliable and also Tony Jones @ TJ Rigging supplied the running rigging for my Hunter 27 , and would recommend them both .
It just depends where you want the work done , how the price compares and who is available ?
