I won a prize draw back in the summer during a Go Boating event which was held in Brighton marina. The prize was a trip around Poole harbour in a Sunseeker and was being offered by a company called Saltines or Saltings or something, but I've heard nothing from them. Does anyone know who they are ???

Re: ride in sunseeker

there are a few on charter thereabouts. You need a ride in High Energy. This is a big 68 ish predator, on occ charter. (it's called High Energy cos of erm boyztown associations with that kind of music, ahem and nice men owners..)

Mind you also seen 2 or three 30+ish footers yahoo Hawks which blam around near the needles for a laugh too seem good fun and ok for 40knots+

all blokes? That's them. Obviously didn't fancy you. Agreed v serious/grim. Marital problems perhaps, and now trying IVF?

I always (well fairly often) go out of my way to invite people aboard, cos I'd want a look too, and then eventually mebbe everyone with nice car/boat will give people a ride rather than snooty look. Also good rule always to be v nice to everyone on the way up so they'll be nice to you one the way down, and it works. erm....

Rafted up against these guys (so to speak) in St PP a while back; the wifey one put down a fresh white towel on the side deck every time I wanted to walk across their boat. SWMBO thought they were 'sweet' and waves at them every time we pass their huge monstrosity in Yarmouth. How they get that thing into Yarmouth, I dont know; must have a huge thruster
