Hello one and all

My tender has sprung a leak. It’s where the PVC adheres to the fibreglass hull. Only a small thumb sized part seems to have unstuck causing water to seep in. Keen to fix this, as on hols and don’t want it to sink.. can anyone tell me what to use to re adhere it watertight? Thanks!

The Hypalon 1-part is useless. I have tried twice to repair a leak in my hypalon inflatable (a 3mm hole) over the last week. The second attempt seemed ok for a few days but exposure to the current hot weather caused the patch to start to lift.

I might try the 2-part, since you recommend it.

By the way, the OP might get more responses if he got the moderators to move this thread to the Practical Boat Owner forum where all the impecunious yachtsmen who have to repair things are to be found. ;)

Fully agree. I part is poor. However in saying two part no matter how good will be equally useless unless the OP does a good job of removing any old glue and following the detailed instructions to the letter. And detailed they are.

There goes a quick and easy job then!!!
