RIB fuel tank

Hi, just bought my first RIB, Valient 450

The fuel tank is bare on the rear deck, guess some spray may get in, I don't go far, so could site a smaller tank under the seat, or install a water separator ?

Some treads suggest the Valient may not have enough weight forward, so I could move that tank forwards, but it's wetter there, any suggestions ?

Fit a water separator anyway, plus stick a smaller tank forward with a separate fuel line, ready just in case. 'Spray' shouldn't get in your tank, although water does get in the fuel as we all know!
