Hi all,

There are 25 of us staying at a large house in Salcombe this weekend for a 30th Birthday.. A boat was part of the deal, which was suitable for skiing etc.. but just heard the engine is faulty and unlikely to be available..

Anyone know where i could get a Bare boat charter in that area? I have ICC/PB2/Day skip tidal..

Wanted to take people out (not paying passengers), teach watersking and tow the ringo/banana.

Big chunk of Saturday/Sunday will not be the same without a boat given that we are staying on the estuary and will likely be on the beach! :-(

Any ideas??

Thanks

Nick

Sorry, not a great deal of help as I don't know who, if anyone, will hire out the sort of boat that you need. However, you could ring Salcombe Boat Hire (01548 844475) who may know someone that does. They themselves rent out runabouts/dories up to about 17ft I think.
Good Luck.
I've made a note to avoid Salcombe this weekend /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You could try talking to the powerboat school there. A couple of years back one of his students was coding a boat, which would then be available to students who'd been through the school for hire. If you can persuade them you are of sufficient skill, maybe it would be available??
