Rhone flow rate

I am planning to transit the Rhone from Port St. Louis to Lyon in April. Does anyone know the likely flow rate in knots at this time of year?

Will be quite high. Came the other way in June and we were swept along at 9.6knotts, not bad for a design speed of 6.

People in small engined boats were saying it was taking them ages to get up. We left Chalone sur Soanne on the Monday and were in Palavas on the Saturday morning!

Only seen this from the banks. As you say, snow melt gives a decent flowrate - but of course upstream he will have lots of control.
