Pretty sure Towsure do one or any caravan accessory dealer.
Or other options are Polarity tester plug, checks earth etc as well as polarity for around a tenner, or a pair of neon from earth to live and neutral. if light is on live
lead then polarity OK, if light is on Neutral lead then polarity reversed.

Re: hlb

From memory it's hull length is 35ft sumat and the beam is 12ft and maybe 6inch. But the marina says it's 42 ft overall, but thats with davits and the rail poking out the front. I have not measured it so cant be sure.

I bought an extension cable a few years ago which had various checks built into the socket case including reverse polarity (live and neutral the wrong way around). I bought it in India (where you really need it!) but they must be available here as I'm sure it would have been an import.

It is possible to purchase a plug-in polarity tester from most good electrical & DIY stores. This plugs into a standard 13amp socket and three neon indicators indicate if the electrical supply is properly connected, and if not, the most common faults.

I keep one on board, as often the polarity is connected the wrong way round in french marinas.

i have always used the 3 pin plugin with 3 lights, most elec shops will have them,,,
///////i keep a short lead on board with blue plug n socket wired the wrong way,to solve problem,,,

The circuit breaker panel (240v section) on our Broom includes a warning light that indicates reverse polarity.

Have you checked yours?
