Have had an intermittent fault with both rev counters and warning lights not working. Sometimes one, sometimes both. Lights and alarms working ok when needed. It's been suggested that it might be something to do with the domestic isolator. An engineer fiddled with this sometime ago and it temporarily rectified the fault. There's a T bar type switch on this which I'm told wear out. Anyone had anything similar happen?

Boat is fairline targa 30.

All other gauges work fine and 12v domestics perfect.

Thanks

Don't know about your boat but the contacts on domestic type isolator switches do cause problems due to the fork not making a full gripping contact with the blades when the switch is thrown. Squeezing the forks together usually solves this for a time at least.

Thanks, after more playing about I am almost sure its the actual isolator switch. Having 'jiggled' it about all lights and tacho's working. Will try and change the switch tomorrow. Thanks for all advice
