Returning to the Red Ensign from Croatian Flag

Last year we changed flag to Croatian to take advantage of the low VAT rate. Apart from missing sailing under the red ensign, I feel it may be cheaper to change back to British SSR given that my insurance premium has trebled with a local company. Has anybody changed back from Croatian registration?

No problem (if you qualify) to getting on the SSR. You will need to remove from the Croatia register and presumably there is a process (and a cost!) for doing that. Were there any other conditions attached to the reduced VAT and continuing to keep your boat in Croatia? Sounds like you need to talk to an agent in Croatia.
