I stupidly returned to (small) boat ownership a couple of weeks ago by accident and while I am fortune enough to pull in a few ‘favours’ I have been somewhat surprised by how different things now are and I mean that in a very positive way.
The biggest surprise has been the very informative and frequent updates by the EA across all social platforms. I have yet to move the boat proper but it feels as if I have everything I need to know. I even had a call from a forum member giving me some very welcome advice! And I saw another today enjoying a very well deserved first cruise beer.
Given the day job involves dealing with yachts measured in metres and lots of them at that ! There’s no better place to unwind than the River Thames ... I cannot wait to get out there next weekend. Even though I was supposed to be in Cannes !
