Having recently spent an enjoyable weekend aboard a fellow forumites fine vessel I was wondering how to repay the favour.
My thoughts are to invite him for a ride on my jetski. However, as his yacht uses a miserly amount of diesel and my jetski drink petrol like he drinks beer, would a 15 minute limit be fair?

i don't think he needs a ride on the thing at all - if you really want him to enjoy your jetski you should invite him to take a mooring buoy in langstone harbour and watch the fun as you back the trailer and then the entire car into the water, get soaking wet as you launch, eventually get it started but get nicked for speeding, and finally lose control and whizz up the beach flinging yourself clear at the last moment. Much more entertainment, surely?

Think 5 minutes should be quite enough .. do you reckon you could get it between the hulls of the fast red jet? Could have a dummy run on the Hythe Ferry first before going for the "big one"
