Planning my return from Port Solent Friday. Back to Windy Brighton anything less than Force 8 will be a mill pond for me , any clues on forecast hoping for a nice SW wind to break Blue ribbon record Solent Brighton . Any volunteers ! Fastest damm boat in the channel on the day . (only mad one out there)

Oh No Not Again!! If you get a south west just keep the clog down and dont slow up till in the Lock- marina or where ever.
An F7 behind my P35 is great but darnt slow down. Keep about 22 knots. Not too fast or you bash into the next one, but not to slow or there passing you. Waves can do about 18 knots so IMHO best to keep going a little faster!!

Re: sunday

Hi Mark I would say Sunday variable F3 looks better, I'm planning to go Guernsey on Sunday on
delivery trip.

friday : North 4-5.......I've been checking as we've got a 1/2 day's tuition booked -we wanted a reasonable wind, but no F9's.

Volunteers?- if we weren't already booked......

Timbertex

Navtex has a few navigation warnings tonight - seems as though the channel is full of baulks (balks? anyway, loads of the stuff) of timber. Casquets (west of Alderney) too. Might be cargo from Kodima?

Anyway, take care.
