Hi All
Looking to fit a Jabsco 58500 Lite Flush toilet in place of the original Jabsco manual currently fitted
All the dimesnsions show that it will be a straight swop(?) and will fit in the same place and footprint
My question is electrical
It will draw 20 amps from a 12V supply and a short cable run could use a 4.0mm cable, I would like to use 6.0mm (just because) but will the terminals on the toilet accept the 6.0mm conductor (can't see this info on the technical spec sheet) and will the terminals on the overhead dash board circuit breaker also accept such a large conductor, is there a route for the cable from the dash board above to below the floor in the heads?
Alternatively, is the supply to shaver socket rated at 20 amps and fed from where? It would be easier to get rid of the shaver point and take the supply from there than from the overhead dash
Wish I could go to the boat!
