retro fit outdoor seating Antares 980

We've had our Antares 980 in Plymouth since January and love pretty much everything about it. One of the features I envy with other boats is the wrap around outdoor cockpit seating and storage that they often have. The 980 comes with a single fold down seat attached to the transom and even with the cushion on it isn't something you'd want to sit on for long.This year we've used a couple of camping chairs and a small table but if possible I'd like to have something more permanent. Has anyone else solved this 'problem' ?

Another option would be to get a deck locker from same website http://www.outhill.com/work-category/deck-lockers/

Then get a cushion made to velcro on top of it
