Retaining ring

Anyone know where I can get spiral retaining rings for an Arco 8 single speed winch. They look like this

I didn't think to measure it when I had it in my hand while servicing the winch. It retains the shaft of the winch underneath and is recessed in a deep tunnel.

There's a bigger one on top holding the barrel of the winch on.

I thought it'd be good to carry spares.

Bearing snap rings. But you do need to know the size

Lots of the right type, spiral retaining rings from suppliers in the USA. zilch in UK/ireland/Europe lots of other types of clips C clips, E clips etc.

AND WHAT IS THE SPECIAL TRICK FOR GETTING IT BACK INTO THE TUNNEL!!

Seems one must stretch its height. Then lever in with(gloved) finger and a screwdriver.

Glad I'm in harbour, and not trying to this in lumpy seas

But now it's all back together, didn't measure material thickness, I'm not sure How I could have done that, nor the groove width.

Should have measured internal diameter though

I wonder if its possible to get the specs for them?
