Topliss furler. Putting in Tuolene balls and need to use a grease/ something to hold in place as assembling. But if use grease it will collect dirt. They dont have a seal. So something that will wash away? Any suggestions please?

Shower gel is the stuff Ronstan suggest for assembling recirculating ball batten cars.

Used thick honey in a similar application with over 50 balls to retain ,warm water washes off and no risk to plastics with greases or Vaseline and no greasy residuesues after washing off

Vaseline won't wash out with water. Ronstan advise against using any grease of any kind.

That makes sense. I renewed bearings on a Rotostay this year and the instructions suggested using Vaseline. Also. leaving one ball bearing short on each race.

I like the idea of shaving cream .
