Results of diesel treatment poll's

Well here are the results to the two Polls regarding whether or not you should treat your diesel fuel, I waited to get a sample of at least 100 responses from this Forum, it only allows one vote per member:

Some very interesting comments on both Forums, I think the results speak for themselves.

Perhaps the next poll should be to find out how many of each category (i.e. those who treat and those who dont) have actually had a bug problem.

I suspect that the non-treaters have never had an issue, and the treaters either have, or know someone who has had a problem.

Perhpas ignorance is bliss.

Good supply of fuel is also essential so you should perhaps ask where people fill up and with what. The NEW fuel that is being supplied by some marina's has no bio diesel or red colouring so should be far better. Saying that I fill our tank with cans from a decent supermarket. Always keep them topped up and don't appear to get any water in the first fuel filter. I have been doing this for 5 years now without any problems.
