Hi all, my conversation below with @DanTribe prompts me to give the following update... There is a major NATO meeting (heads of government level) taking place in the Hague next month. In relation to this there are many restrictions in place between 19th and 25th June. The relevant ones for us as sailors are that there will be major restrictions in the coastal area from Hoek van Holland to Noordwijk, to a distance of 12NM offshore. Restrictions begin at 2359 Dutch time on 19th June and will be lifted at 2359 on 25th June. There is a total ban on vessel movements (except for dinghies etc launched from the beach) between 23rd June 1500 local to 25th June 23:59. The only exception is that there will be a corridor from Maasmond to Scheveningen, which can only be used with the permission of Scheveningen. More details in Dutch here: Beperkingen op de Noordzee rondom NAVO-top 2025 | Watersportverbond. Note that there are also lots and lots of restrictions on shore and in the air. So it's not the week to visit.
