Restoring old Hilliard

Hello
Anyone know of a good, sensibly priced shipwright in or around Portsmouth? I'm thinking of restoring a Hilliard 9 tonner, one l have owned before but the current owner died and neglected the boat even when he was alive, leaving it in a right mess!

Structurally probably not too bad as l had a major overhaul done in 2000, but maybe keel bolts, the odd plank, a couple of ribs, new engine bearers, things like that will need sorting. I will move her to a yard around Portsmouth somewhere and hope to get the work done over the summer. The work l had done was at Coombes boatyard that no longer exists.

Any suggestions?

Two spring immediately to mind, that have been in need of some tlc, and they are 'The Mistress Anne' and 'Moomba'.

I had Ryan Kearley do a fairly big repair job on one of the coamings on my Hillyard. He did an excellent job, and he's a really nice guy, and reliable, and has worked on a few other Hillyards, as well as having worked at Hillyards too, for a short time.
He's East Sussex based, but does travel. Maybe worth a phone call, if you are still looking.

Nick, a great restoration on Wumpus, and I shared that video of yours to the Hillyard Owners Facebook group, when you first uploaded it, which we really enjoyed! So nice to see her previously white coamings stripped and varnished!
I remember Coombes with affection. A true boatyard!

This one is Moomba, and Nick you were around at the time so you would remember her.

I hope she is saved. I remember her for sale, and in good nick around 10 years ago.
Same Petter engine as mine too.
