Morning all,

I am taking a group of Sales Managers to Puerto Banus for an incentive trip in July. Our marketing manager and events people in spain have come up with a few suggestions for a decent but relatively informal restaurant. Budget is reasonable but not extravagant and these are middle mgmt types rather than Director level.

I would be grateful for anyone with any local knowledge or experience to point me in the right direction. Really want some local seafood and somewhere overlooking all the boats!

The favourite so far is Azul Marino

Thanks
Adam

The Bar that Gary Linnekar was in the other week, is errrrrr interesting !

- plenty of eye candy !!!! We went in there last year, "by mistake" yeah right !!!!!!

Going over myself in early March, golfing trip - can take a look at any places if you like...............

Hi, thanks - This one, Azul Marino doesn't look too bad from the pic's so if you happen to be passing, it would be good to get your first impressions, while you're there. I'm sure that after the pleasantries of dinner are over it'll be a visit to some of the livelier nightspots!!

Just back. Looks a nice place walking past - I got there at a time when it was closed, but asked at the hotel, and confirmed as nice.

The story referred to above was Hugh Grant, not Gary Linekar (his brother has a bar round the back though)- the bar I was alluding to is The Navy Bar. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The dearest for a beer was about 15 Euros............each.

Hope that helps, a little at least.

Cheers

Adrian

Only thing you will get in Banus is the arse ripped out of your trouser pockets,Its for the seriously rich or posers only No such thing as a reasonablely priced establishment. Last time I was there was about 5 years ago & everything was mega money. There are many other places just as hip without the rip off factor try Benalmadena, great marina & lively surroundings. at a fraction of the cost.
regards ...Nat

There are some great bars in PB, go to the second or third row back from the front or in the square by the cinema. Things have changed a lot since i started going nearly 30years ago but you can still find great bars with something for everyone /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif.
