To the barges and Narrow boats who kept a good tight formation whereas the Cruisers were all over the place, as we're the ADLS and Woodies.

However, respect is due if not for helping ability, but for sheer mettle! We waited from 7am outside in the rain just to watch, but we feel the crews had a harder time...

3 cruisers with fenders down let down the side a little, but a spectacular event lead by the unique Dandy Regent which looked spectacular. In formation as expected and flying the Bray flag high and proud. Well done all that took part.

I know I'm risking a backlash from the Bray Mafia and other sycophants, but I have to say the plastic tub section was not as slick or impressive as it might have been.
I am meeting some participants later today I look forward to their viewpoint.
I may not survive the day. :)

No backlash. I have to agree. Similarly the dunkirk boats were all over the place. Easy to criticise from the sidelines however ;)

Think the man powered fleet put in the most hard work and in the end presented by far the best spectacle for the day.

They very much stole the show in my opinion:)

As an aside does anyone know what the propulsion system the Royal Barge had been fitted with. It moved so effortlessly, 'azipods' perhaps, I couldn't detect any prop or thruster wash:confused:

Interesting watching the BBC time lapse video back!

I must admit I watched it on TV from my lounge, a great day and the rain looked horrible. There were some very cold and wet people.

Electric thrusters and pods.
Spoke at length to the crew as it was alongside us at Imperial Wharf.
A real testimony to British boat building IMHO.
On Saturday pm one of the thrusters was broken - it was replaced overnight - so all looked very slick on Sunday.
My wife seemed to prefer the Rowers to the engines though...not sure why!
A brilliant effort from all who took part and something to be totally proud of.
