resealing water tanks

The water tanks in my Nic38 are showing signs of pitting and two micro cracks have appeared in the top corners. Does anyone have any information on coatings (e.g epoxy?) to reseal them that are not going to have a negative effect on our health?

There is a resealing compound (not to sure of its name) that reacts in water to seal up plastic tanks for home & I am sure it will work on Fibre glass tanks its like a putty and is available from Plumbcentre or BSS or any good plumbers merchant.

There have been quite a few threads on this, so worth searching the archives. There are two general solutions, 1) reseal the tanks with one of the products discussed at depth in the previous threads, 2) put a new flexible tank inside your old hard tank.
