Does anyone know if this product is availble in the UK, and if so, where , please ? Or an alternative with the same functional spec ?

What is the difference between this and "Self-Amalgamating" rubber tape? Which has been available in most chandleries for years.

I bought this stuff at LIBS. It is similar to self amalgamating tape, but wider than the stuff used by electricians and seems stronger. I have used it for a number of jobs on the boat and it is something I would always keep on board.

...is that this stuff was being pushed by a real cute little french babe at the LIBS.

A hairy Aussie with bad teeth was also trying to sell it.
