I have a rescue sling, whose yellow bag under the hot Med sun became a mess! Anybody knows where I could get a replacement bag? An alternative is probably these plastic boxes I sometimes see on boats but again I have no idea who sells them.
Thanks

I had the same problem. Contacted sailmakers etc for cost of replacement and it was almost as much as a new unit. In the end I made one from an old but hardly used dinghy cover using the measurements from the old one as a pattern. Relatively easy job if you have basic sewing machine skills and a piece of suitable material.

I bought a replacment Lifesling bag from West Marine in the US, but after shipping, VAT, etc, it wasn't much cheaper than buying a whole new sling.

I'd definitely be making one - bit of a rash of custom bags and covers going on here this winter :). It's a basic square box with a couple of flaps on the back, couldn't really be simpler.

Not much good if you don't have a sewing machine, though.
