EI-RCG is seen here operating the new Flying Lifeboat service. Note the uprated Mooslie roter blades recently fitted to give additional M.I.L.K. yield. (MILK = Maximum Irishmen Lift in Kgs). It was unfortunate that on this exercise two crew members failed to operate the boat release mechanism correctly.

EI-RCG seen here upgraded to conform with the new EU regulations requiring power units to be rated in the new UCP figures.
Reg 20006 1/4/07, section 15,para 3 requires that all engine power ratings are quoted in the new Universal Cattle Power ratings developed to avoid discrimination against against countries that use draft Cattle rather than Horses for haulage. Max UCP must be marked clearly on the mechanism of the power unit, using the new ICS (International Cattle Symbol) and must be clearly visible from the exterior of the vehicle whilst in operation.
