Repsol gas adaptor to uK hose?

Hello, currently in Spain. Hear for about four months, and I have invested in a Repsol gas bottle and regulator with hose barb. Turns out, of course, the hose bard is a little too fat for my existing 8.3mm gas connection. I can force it on but it seems it is chewing up the hose.

Is there an easy way to adapt this setup? Or, just give up and revert to campinggaz? Thanks
