Reproofing GILL coastal jacket

I have a 10 year old Gill Coastal jacket that gets pretty waterlogged in wet weather, then takes a couple of days to dry. I did try to reproof last year and it did help a bit. I shared one can between the jacket and a pair of salopetes. Perhaps I didn't use enough (1 can each perhaps?). Anyone done this successfully, any hints or tips, or is it time to buy new?

I have heard that using a bucket of fabsil and steeping your jackets is more effective than the sprays. I used a full spray on my jacket last year and it made heehaw difference to the beading...

Which reminds me, I need to re-do mine next week in time for our annual cruise

Rub it all over with beeswax polish.

I used Nik Wax reproofer on my Gill jacket and it works very well, just follow the instructions on the bottle ?

I wash my kit in the Nik Wax wash and reproof system every year. 10 year old kit still going strong.

Send it back to Gill. They have a lifetime warranty and will probably replace it FOC. I've had 3 jackets and 4 pairs of trousers off them.

Use Nik Wax. It does what it says on the tin, if you do what it says on the tin.
