well I have recived many replys from people who have done this type of course, there replys only lead me to belive that they are a bit embarrased as to the amount they spent, as all of the replys came via e,mail, of all the replys only two are working in the industry and in there words they were lucky being at the right place at the right time one is now instucting and the other doing charter work in the canarys this guy was very lucky as one of the requirements is that fluent spanish can be spoken, (so i have no chance) most of the replys mentioned we were looking for something else to fill up there lives as they considered that there sporting days would not go on forever, as for the people that had looked invein for work they had given up owing to the vast numbers of austrailians, south africans, americans, germans and austrians who were happy to work for very little just to show off and enjoy the sun shine, so it gives me very little heart to proceed up the ladder to yacht master fastrack, and i belive that what was wrote in one reply that the R Y A has made it to easy to jump from novice to hero, most money lenders would be happy to lend the amount to do one of these courses in one persons words perhaps the final exams should be to a very high standard as he found it easy, what he meant by that who knows Iwould like to thank all the people that replyed by this forum Tom

Hi There,

Rather than zero to hero you are much better off to discuss your goals and current ambitions with a reputable school willing to offer honest advice, rather than just trying to sell a fixed package to make as much money as they can.

Being in the industry I know that the number of schools willing to do this is quite small. We would be more than happy to discuss things with you, either on the phone, via email, or in person, so please have a look at www.haslarseaschool.co.uk to see if you like the look of us, then get in touch if you would like to find out more.

All the best.

The Team at Victory and Haslar
