I have a manual pump that is below the deck and the handle above deck. The pump is sited on a vertical bulkhead, I would like to change the pump for a bigger capacity pump. Apparently the deck plate size is the same for both sizes. Has anyone done this? Is it a simple swap or does the site of the 30 have to be further away from deck hole?
Thanks

Why not get in touch with Whale Help Desk?
They gave me extremely detailed instructions and found the service kit for a 30 year-old Whale Urchin.
I would guess that you have a greater throw and need a larger pipe for a higher-volume pump and an alternative would be to fit two small pumps or a double acting one.
As NK said "there's more than one way of killing the pig besides cutting its throat".
