Griffon Mk1 1981. Anyone know the width of the dark blue coveline tape around the top of the hull, under the teak toerail?
Ours is very worn and needs replacing, but don't want to paint the line, would prefer a vinyl tape as per original.
Has anybody here replaced this tape, any hints or tips you can offer? Thinking of marking the bottom edge of the old tape to give a reference line to work to, would this help?
Thanks.

I replaced the stripes on our Storm. I used a hot-air gun and a sharpened wooden spatula to remove the old ones. There was a slight colour difference under the old stripes which was enough reference to put on the new ones, though I'd already measured the space between the top stripe and a painted stripe on the hull finding it was the same width as a piece of masking tape, so that would have done the job as well.
